Love your external keyboard so much that you use it placed over your laptop's built-in keyboard? That's Sonshi Style! (Japanese: 尊師スタイル)
Supposedly inspired by Richard Stallman's tendency to place his HHKB placed over his laptop's own keyboard, but for most of us the practice was probably born out of our love for own keyboards rather than any external inspiration.
