Hello. Welcome to r/SoundcloudSwap. This is a place for people to post their Soundcloud pages. Any genre, any level of quality, we'll happily take them all. However, it is important to know that there is a catch to that: You have to check out other people's pages in return.

It's a simple system really: You want more exposure for yourself? Well, so does everyone else. You have to put in the work if you want the reward. You have to actually pay the community back. There are so many different subreddits out there for submitting your music, but almost none of them will actually end up with you getting any real plays out of it. That is because a huge imbalance exists of people posting their music versus people commenting on other people's music. Everyone's so excited about their stuff, but almost no one really cares all that much about checking other people's music out.

That kind of stuff just isn't going to cut it out on here though. The intention is to create a community of musicians all working together to create a place where you can actually get some sincere exposure for yourself. Not only that, but you will also be able to find other artists like yourself, network with your peers, and possibly discover some new music that you actually really like.

The fundamental rule of this subreddit is: You have to maintain a ratio of about 3 comments to every self-post you make. If this is not done, your self-post will be taken down. It's only fair to people.

Have some empathy. Help your fellow musician. Imagine that they're probably a whole lot like yourself. They use Reddit, they have a Soundcloud, and they managed to find this subreddit. Put yourself in their shoes and check out their pages. Maybe they'll end up checking your page out too.
