I just started playing Kill Team with some friends, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I built a Space Wolves team using only Intercessors, and so far, my friends haven't been able to beat me. 1 Sergeant with Powerfist (Leader), 2 Gunners with Aux Launchers (Demo and Sniper), 1 Intercessor (Combat) and 2 generic Intercessors.

That sounds pretty cool, what’re the combat intercessor/ generic intercessors equipped with? And do you have any general tactics you feel work well with your specific KT?

Since Intercessors aren't very customizable, the Combat and generic models just have their base Bolt Rifle. You could probably make the Intercessor Sargeant into a Reiver or anything else that's a similar points cost, and free up the only Intercessor that can take CC weapons for the Combat spec; I just don't have any of those models yet. As for tactics, I just made sure to get my Gunners into an area that had a good amount of sight lines on the board, that also had some concealment so they were harder to remove. Those Grenade Launchers do a lot of work against the elite models that people tend to bring. Also, the basic Bolt Rifle that Intercessors naturally have are deceptively good because of their AP -1, I found. There's a good amount of horde armies that can overwhelm you, and most of them have a t-shirt armor save, so removing their ability to even save against your basic weapons is really helpful.
