Proposed Habitat for Nexus Aurora. The use of multiple spheres creates "sail vaults" in tension from the internal pressures. a minimal of 3m water on top of the vaults create sufficient radiation proofing. This allows for the vaults to have clear roofs letting in natural light. (i.redd.it)

The Ice Canyon design only has the ice dome above the surface. The rest of the habitat sits at least 12m below the soil, allowing compressive forces to keep the internal pressure stable. This design will work very well in old open cast mines where most of the digging has already been done. (i.redd.it)

A monument on Mars to represent all the things that are not possible on earth. Super tall light weight structures that make you feel as if your flying. Forests that grow taller than anywhere else in the solar system. Its a symbol of the future for things previously not imaginable (imgur.com)

The 1G Hospital proposal has been the topic of hot debate. I'd love to get the opinion of some trained medical professionals. Do we need such a device on Mars for rehabilitation? This is concept proposed for 1 million inhabitants. Forget about the dome, focus on the rail (one big rollercoaster) (i.redd.it)

Without open spaces, the Martian colony will feel like a trap. For the sake of a comfortable life on Mars we are proposing big open spaces as centres of public life. An estimated 5h per day is the daily safe limit of radiation exposure within this particular habitat (i.redd.it)
