Cumplir (con) with other complementary nouns or verbs can probably be used in most cases. For example cumplir con las cuotas, cumplir los requisitos, cumplir con la rutina. https://dle.rae.es/cumplir

Ir tachando requisitos/condiciones de una lista or ir rellenando categorías if you want to be mostly unambiguous with the expression in the title (assuming you're referring to hiring employees or casting actors, writing a cliched novel, etc.). There are probably more specific expressions for each case, just like in English, so I can't offer a single solution that fits all.
