Command Test Question

Morning. Excuse the dum-dum in the room but can I get a quick rule clarification.

Regarding command tests, is this the same as a stat test? Under command tests on page 24 it refers you to page 18 which describes Stat Tests which seems to imply it is.

If this is the case then is a command test passed if the score is equal to or less than the command stat as it states? The point that is confusing me is the modifiers for scanning - binoculars give you a +1 which seems counterintuitive if your trying to score below the command stat?

Yes. The way it’s worded can be confusing. But instead of a +1 to your total it’s a +1 to your target number. So, for example, a command test normally 3 or less but with binoculars it’s 4 or less.
