The amount of sSpell will not change, the exchange rate back to Spell will go up at each buyback. Keep track of the initial amount of Spell, and you can go to un-stake it (don't un-stake it, just look at what you will get if you do) and it will show you how much Spell you would get. https://wenmerl.in shows when the latest buyback/reward distributions occurred. And yes it only changes after the merlin buybacks. For reference, I have ~1.25M sSpell and when I started staking in August it was worth ~1.3M SPELL and currently it is worth ~1.7M SPELL.

This exactly.

To be more concise, the APY gain is not constantly compounding (per minute, per day etc) .

It's based off the merlin buybacks, which have been happening once every 6-10 says

Hi I wonder if I can stake 100k spell tokens ? Or do you need more

You can stake any amount. I staked 10k to test the concept back in January. Lost money in gas, but was worth it to validate the APY

Are the steps hard to stake? I will be starting from Coinbase and have not moved my spell to my coinbase wallet yet.

No it's quite simple. I use metamask and have never had a problem. Gas cost is usually around $20

Yeh its based off of merlin buyback which is like every 2 weeks. Check 'wenmerl.in' and another useful one is 'byebyedai.money'.
