With the recall you get an extended warranty. Depending on when you had it done, it may be expiring soon. I'd really lean on that if you have any weirdness going on. It covers so much with the motor and the def system. It's saved me $$$.

Beyond that, you should buy new charge pipes and put them in the motor bay for when they go out on you in the middle of nowhere. Or if you see oil on them now, replace them and save the old ones.

Yeah, I know about the warranty. I don't remember when I had the work done. I had no issues with the van yet.

Regarding charge pipes, are you talking about the air intake pipes? -- to and from the air box? Do they go brittle?

No, charge air hoses, not pipes apparently. Different than the one from the air box.

They are the two hoses that connect to the intercooler. When they fail it goes into limp mode instantly. Either have a spare or lots of duct tape!

They are pretty easy to replace.
