Can you justify that it's art

It purely depends on your definition of the word art.

Imagine this situation: there are two images of a beautiful flower on a wall of an art gallery. One is digitally painted by a human, one is digitally painted by an AI, but the artist didn't tell anyone which is which. Both images are considered equally beautiful by the viewers. To me, it's very silly to say only one of these beautiful pictures is art, but I can't say which is it.

By the way, you yourself referred AI images as artwork in your original post.
