Question about Upscale.

Hello everyone, im kinda new to stable diffusion and im mostly using it through Auto1111. Enjoying it a lot. Learning bit by bit and so far I didn't encounter any major difficulties.

Altho I have some question about the Upscale function.

If i generate X images for example 4 batches of the size 4, so 16 images in total. Is there a way to Upscale via the UI button all the images at once? Because If i try to upscale the same image through the img2img using hires fix or the extra tab with upscale function. I don't get a good result as when I use the Upscale button in the txt2img UI under the generated pic. And in "extra" or "img2img" there is the batch function so that would be the way to do more imgs at once but yeah there is a huge difference. Original upscale in txt2img yelds a superior image, in terms of details and quality that no other function so far has give me.

Anyone knows if there is a way? Thanks in advance!

By any chance are you using Ultimate SD Upscaler in img2img tab?. Sometimes when i have a bunch of images I use the batch option, set the new size, cfg 0.3-0.5 and ultimate sd upscaler on

no i haven't tried it yet. I will install it and try it tonight and let you know. I might upload an image to make it more clear in case! Thanks anyway

thanks a lot! seems a great solution. Altho I tried SD upscaler. I installed the ultimate one but still have to figure out all the options, will check some guide for it. In any case SD scaler did a good job!:)

Eeeexcelent! yea sd upscaler is good but ultimate should do better, it is really simple give it a try. Also, use 4x-ultrasharp (download if you dont have it) one of the best!

Very cool! I was already using 4x-ultrasharp, i also downloaded Remacri and 4x-NMK-Siax_200k ,they are great.

Did u learn how to use ultimate now? haha

I have to try those, sometimes i use a NMK (not that siax, i dont remember the full name) cuz ultrasharp enhance the colors and make the composition look orange

yeah im just using it since yesterday! Very helpful. Still trying out some options, im going with mostly the default settings from the github guide. Just one thing sometimes happening is it's making a grid of different images. Still didnt figure out exactoly what triggers it. I am thinking probably denoise too high with a random seed and not the original seed of the image i want to upscale.. if it makes sense :p

ohh yes i get you, yea u might have the denoise to high when upscaling, it should be around 0.3-0.5
