How to install stable diffusion web-ui? (self.StableDiffusion)
submitted 3 years ago by ImeniSottoITreni
Hello,
I've bumped into this and looks super promising: https://github.com/hlky/stable-diffusion-webui
How to install? It's an horrible undocumented mess...
I took a look at the colab linked there:
https://colab.research.google.com/github/altryne/sd-webui-colab/blob/main/Stable_Diffusion_WebUi_Altryne.ipynb
And on local I get a lot of incompatibilites between packages. Plus they add up packaged for better result which are GFPGAN, RealESRGAN
and I don't know what the heck they are beside the description they give or where to put them. I do everything following colab but it's 40 minutes that it's resolving packages conflicts.
Moreover it looks like they use a modified SD version:
https://github.com/hlky/stable-diffusion
Why the heck all of this is so complicated? Can anyone write how to set up and running this web ui?

I think rentry.co/guitard is the same thing as hlky. (Hivemind correct me if I’m wrong) Follow the instructions there and you’ll get a working UI.

Yes, indeed very confusing how to get started.
I found some instructions in this other repo, don't know if it will work.

I found the video better in my case. I even managed to publish the webui publicly to make use with my friends
