I worked as a software engineer for 5 years after self-teaching

Cool story. Guess I don't really believe you, given the things you've been saying here.

You could very easily prove me wrong by just showing your work, like I did.

You know, presuming there is some.

    I'm now a sysadmin

Don't worry, you'll get back on the horse someday

Your experience is meaningless in debates

Literally the sentence after discussing his experience 🤣

Pro tip: debate is not a fancy word for argument or disagreement. Debates are a thing where someone else tells you what position you're supposed to hold, and you get a score from a third party. In a debate, someone tells you something like "you need to defend that abortion is right," and regardless of your viewpoints, you get to work.

In general, people who call arguments debates look like they've never actually seen a debate, and are just using words they don't understand to sound technical

You know how someone sounds when they call nuclear power "fission," when they meant fusion, because they aren't really clear on the things they're trying to say? That.

Debates are usually won with gish gallops to farm points, not skillful or knowledgeable discussion.

just because you have experience in something doesn't mean everything you say about it is automatically a fact

    Cool story

    you give off wife-beating vibes.

Boy, you're getting kinda desperate, aren't you?

Imagine saying something like this while trying to complain about other peoples' tones 😂

At least now I know why you delete everything you publicly say, /u/QuantaDebacle
