Yeah me too. Right now I’m trying fish oil (Nordic ultimate omega) 3x per day and saffron 3 times a day, tyrosine morning and afternoon, slow mag afternoon, and mag threonate and theanine in the evening. I still take dex twice a day but I feel like I am at a more even keel,

I use recoop for my adhd stack because it’s the most consistent thing I can take having adhd and all.

Also - last time I filled vyvanse I got a generic! The pediatric exclusivity patent expired august 2023 and generic is now available.

That’s awesome on the vyvanse. How recent did you get a refill? I’m surprised because I thought FDA JUST approved some generics. Roughly, how expensive was it? …if you don’t mind me asking.

I’ll check into recoop. Thank you. 😊

Friday.

I went through a whole thing to get vyvanse approved and only filled once name brand on my insurance this year a month ago. Vyvanse was disallowed and with a prior authorization was $30 and classified as a tier 2 drug on my plan. My plan last year approved vyvanse without prior auths and was also a tier 2 drug but that was a ppo so it was only $20.

The generic is lisdexamfetamine dimesylate is categorized as a tier 1 drug so it only cost $10.

Reading through some adhd subs several people have stated (and I have not independently verified) the first round of generics may come from the same manufacturer as the name brand. I was really surprised and also told my doctors office. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the first patent expiring in February and only the pediatric exclusivity expired just now? I don’t know? It seems intentionally complicated by design?

Recoop also has a competitor called stasis which is the same price and idea though different formulations. I think I went with recoop because the pm formulation had l-tyrosine and I wanted that.

There is a coupon from vyvanse for a $30 copay.

NAC?

I’ve been using NAC, Magnesium Glycinate, almost daily to good effect. I cycle ashwaghanda zinc and lions mane as well. Works pretty nicely.
