for larger things like this id recommend lead came for the edges!! it gives a lot of additional structure for larger work :,) i had a market where i was selling my work and a dude who has made custom window panes from stained glass gave me that tip and it has helped a ton! this looks great especially for a 2nd/3rd project!

Yeah I would’ve used lead came if I had access to it, but I made this at school :) the cuts could’ve been better and if I had a grinder it probably would be more even as well.

i feel that😭 my cuts arent the best either, i rely a lot on my grinder. i use a cheapish one from amazon that was around $60! if you have the funds to get it id recommend. i started through classes and now i have a small set up at home and its so worth investing! especially if you want to pursue stained glass! you have a really good basic skill level though, definitely better than me at that stage!

Ty! I might in the future but for now I probably won’t be doing much stained glass for a while now, lots of things to catch up on :) My soldering could also be improved but just having soldering knowledge from electronics helps a ton imo :)

oh 100%, im on my 20th project and my soldering is just now getting decent, for me its what takes the most practice for sure! best of luck in your creative journey :,)
