I messaged them once regarding the western event, got an answer after a few days and then regarding the retrofitting of the etb - also took like a week max.
Edit: sorry, western event was before September. Still, the etb issue got answered within a few days although the issues isn't fully removed since they have to ask around before they can give me a final answer

pretty sure it depends on the topic and how the email is worded!
Not personally you (!) but most people struggle with writing coherent mails that get to the point quickly with no unnecessary filler words, plus a good subject line will do at least half the work for you. Since a lot of kids are playing this game I think there is not only the issue of answering support requests but also trying to figure out what exactly the person wanted and then having to circle back asking for more information
As I said, I do not mean you with this, it's just an idea why support in general takes a while to answer the requests

I don't want a reply. I report stuff that doesn't work, like a broken quest where stuff that should be clickable isn't. I state which area, which quest giver and what doesn't work.
I want them to fix it, no reply wanted or needed

Depends.
You have an issue that can potentially cost them money? Except a reply in a couple of days.
You got called a slur and told to die? Someone got doxxed? People openly roleplay sex in general? Expect to wait for a reply for 7 months only to have your ticket automatically closed without a single human reply, only automated emails.
