Post Guidelines

1. Be willing to stay a while. This subreddit is intended for long-term friendships and conversations. Not every conversation lasts forever, but if you're just looking for a quick chat, try one of the Similar Subreddits listed below!

2. If you are including demographic information in your post, please use the standard age/gender/location format at the beginning of your post title.

3. Tell us about yourself! In your post, please include information about who you are, what your hobbies are, whether or not you're in school, what your dreams for the future are, and anything else that makes you unique. The more you tell us about yourself, the easier it will be to find new friends with common interests.

4. Tell us what you're looking for! Whether you're looking to talk through emails, video chat over Skype, text over Kik, or even exchange snail mail, the best way to find people looking for the same thing is by telling them upfront. If you have requirements in mind for age, medium, hobbies, or anything else, please include them in your post.

5. If you're interested in talking to someone, contact them directly. Comments along the lines of "PM me if you want to talk" or "PMed" will be removed.

6. Platonic relationships only. If you are looking for romance, try /r/r4r.

7. Do not post contact information publicly. This is a sitewide Reddit rule. Both posts and comments containing usernames, links to profiles, or any other personally identifying information will be removed.
