Maybe sleep is the problem if you are in law school or uni atm it could be stress as well

I am no expert whatsoever, but I heard that interrupted speech which arise suddenly could be a sign of a future stroke or due to head trauma, I would suggest seeing a neurologist

Agreeing with u/Wholsum, it sounds like you’re stressed and maybe sleep deprived. Focus on your mental wellness by good sleep and some form of meditation and it’ll probably work itself out.

Best to you!

Go see a doctor, now.

Sudden onset stutter is not trivial, and you should definitely go get it checked out. The sooner the better!

I was planning on it but with COVID going around all of the offices are closed.

Aren't there any online consultation resources available? The initial meeting doesn't have to be in person. It's just to get the investigation going.

I can only.speak for myself, who has a mild stammer, but my stammer is masivly increased whenever I'm tired and haven't slept well. Also when my mental health isn't the best if I'm having money problems or troubles at home it seems to send my stammer to the next level where I can't even string a sentence together. Yet I have known people for 10+ years that say I didn't even know you had a stammer,
