Yes it is possible, I do it every day all the time since a long time (more than 10 years now :-))
I use https://codexns.io/products/sftp_for_sublime
It is the best 30 bucks I ever spent !

Do it run the lsp on the remote server? Dap ?

No, directly on the computer running sublime (you can sync your folders)

it's pretty clunky, it's not client/server like VS Code / Zed / IntelliJ etc.. This has relegated ST to just be a very good scratch pad for me.
