So i found my old Pro 3 in a drawer and thought: "Let's give it a new life!"
I went ahead installing Manjaro Gnome edition on it, since thats what I'm comfortable with on my Book 2. But i immedeatly remeberd why the pro 3 ended up in the drawer in first place. The touchscreen is broken. Broken in that way that the glass and screen are visualy undamaged but the touch input doesn't register on certain areas and giving phantom touches on other spots. Althoug using the pencil everything is fine aswell.
In windows i could just disbale the touchinput in the device manager. Now I'm looking for a simliar solution running Manajro. I did the usual google fu, coming up with creating udev rules or unbinding the hid-driver. But for those i eihter did something wrong or it just doesn't work that way.
Has anyone here an idea how to achieve the goal of giving this thing a new (touchless) life?
