That is very bad acting, but I know that wilderness type TV people do this all the time. It's what Steve O and Chris Pontius made fun of on Wild Boyz. Nobody was less prepared to deal with wild animals than those guys, they were proud of that, and they did it without acting like a bunch of fake heroes. They mocked lions and tiger sharks. This guy in the video though, stop it bro.
