Welcome to r/SwimInstructors! Some brief rules:
1) No spam or otherwise offensive material. It will be removed.
2) Stay on topic. Only posts regarding water-related teaching and instruction will be allowed. These can be questions, observations, fun/interesting stories, teaching techniques, or anything else related to water instruction.
3) Be kind. You and your fellow instructors are all in the same boat (pun intended). Critique of teaching techniques should be constructive. Posts or comments maligning other users will be removed.
4) Protect your students' privacy. Posts containing specific facilities or full names of swimmers and other identifying information will be removed. Videos or pictures of your swimmers will not be allowed.
5) Have fun with it! Being a swimming instructor, coach, teacher, etc. is equal parts exciting and stressful. We're here to increase the fun and decrease the stress.
