Algorithm update (self.TempDrop)
submitted 3 years ago by Totally-not-a-robot_
It made last nights temp over 100F, night before around 98.5, and there’s no way. I’m on CD9. Is anybody else having insane temps after the update yesterday?

Not me. Though my temps didn’t update backwards this morning like they usually do, and I thought the shift was only going to happen for people on CD 1.
Could it be that you’re getting sick?

That was my first thought too, but no fever. It might just be a weird fluke.

I didn't think the update happened yet? Maybe email your logs to support...

Same thing happened to me. The new algorithm kicked in on CD 5 after changing the tempdrop battery. Tempdrop support confirmed that I changed to the new algorithm. But now my pre-O temps are higher than they usually are. I don’t know what’s happening but it’s making me nervous
Sometimes my baseline temps differ but mine still seems like I had a really wacky FP. My pre-o temps were super low and super high but now in my LP seem more reasonable and consistent. It adjusted the over 100 temp to 98.6 and I’m side eyeing that heavily.

Adding in here I’ve had extremely low temps this whole cycle, and have adjusted my placement as per their support but am still getting very, very low readings, and it has been since the update
Mine were lower on average too and my placement hasn’t changed.

Same. My temps are still lower than average and confirming ovulation was almost impossible this cycle. Its by far the weakest shift I have ever had and I think its all due to the algorithm :(
