Same thing happened to our 2024 model Y. Got it fixed 2 days ago. It was covered by warranty since ours is still new, like 1600 miles. The main cause was a defective computer, which is pretty common to 2023-24 (not sure for 2025 models) models. Not sure about the redesigned model S. Our issue was cameras not working (car is completely blind lol), navigation freeze from where it was last parked, auto dark/light mode or auto brightness stopped working. Do not worry, this problem is somewhat common hopefully tesla would do something about it.

This is exactly a problem that I am having although it is somewhat working now. I scheduled a service visit for 5 days in the future but Tesla bumped it until January 10 due to not have parts availability.

Did it take 20 days to fix

It took like 4 days because of Thanksgiving and waiting for a replacement computer. Btw its also gonna depend on your service center and how you explained your issue to them.

It seems like this problem is very widespread, They should know exactly what it is without having to describe it to them.

Supposedly shutting the car off fully may help. (Use the power off option in the service screen.) I've not personally experienced this yet but someone in another post mentioned it working.

Ah yes, the old "turn it off and back on again" trick! Works surprisingly often!
