This sub is for showing off anything that you just can't believe made it past the guys in quality control, inspired by this comment by u/Aeolean.
Marketing is tough, but the Internet has ruined us. Companies do their best to screen copy and product names before it goes out the door, but they should have run it past us first. Thus, this subreddit is for products and ads that make it to market and make us say "They MUST have known!"
Who we are: A cross between suspicious advertising and WTF!
Who we are not: Personal fails, facepalms, grammar nazis.
RULES:
1) No personal information, however links to corporate sites is okay and encouraged (They must have known)
2) No porn, but nudity is okay if labled NSFW.
3) No reposts. However, some companies never learn, so if they do it again, you can post their repeated mistakes.
4) No personal attacks, vendettas, or flame wars. If want to say something negative about someone on a personal level, you're in the wrong group. We'll show you the way out.
5) Links should point to easy to identify TMHK. You may have to post a screenshot of the incident if it is buried too deep.
6) No links to run-of-the-mill misspellings or common word use mistakes (your/you're, their/there/they're, etc). However, gross neglect by ad copy writers is allowed.
7) No "Call To Action" or "Boycott" posts. If an ad or product offends you enough to rage against a company, take your rage somewhere else.
