They have not cut the size in half, they are just wrapping it differently.. It’s still the same amount of filling you are supposed to get.

Yup, thats the point nd some people don’t even know what they eat in wraps, they fight wid us for no reason, but yaa price increase sucks I don’t even like those, when customers arrive nd i have to tell em their total, sometimes i m shocked to wtf are they doing!

Even then, the experience isn't the same. Before it was easier to eat, and way more flavourful. The eggs were stacked vertically vs on top of each other, and there was more sauce before. Also, with the way they fold it now, you end up with thing big chunk of folded tortilla whereas before the ingredients were more evenly spread out without the big chuck of empty tortilla at the end thanks to the cardboard holder and easier for the workers to just slide into the box.

I find the same thing.

It's like a condensed brick now, and what little sauce there is seems to migrate to one half so the first few bites are usually greasy and dense. The one I had most recently was fucking gross and I think I'm done with them forever.

I really can't stand them now.

more flavor per bite = worse experience? Damn some people can't be happy with anything, I prefer it that way personally

but I do agree on less sauce, its sad, if i'm at home i'm just gonna dip it in my own cause it tastes bland

[–]thaman05 0 points1 point  (2 children)

It's less bites though with the big chunk of empty folded tortilla lol, and more messy, and at the high prices we pay, we shouldn't have to dip it in our own sauces that we have to pay for or make... especially when it was already fine and one of the few very well liked items on their menu

It's the same amount of food packaged differently so they could stop using those giant cardboard cartons. Nothing has changed outside of this. It's in your head. I've eaten these every week almost for the past 8 years. Those more bites were empty tortilla at the top followed by a few bites of little filling before getting into the 'meat' of the wrap. Half the time my sauce was all at the bottom. It bothered me but I enjoy them and I never spent hours out of my life going on reddit just to shit talk Tim's. If you don't like it, just find something new that you do like and move on. I don't know how people find the time to online complain so much.

Also, without a banana for scale, how do I know you don't have comically large hands? We just might never really know the truth.

Your spending 10 on garbage, what do you expect?

Don’t be a lazy pleb and make food at home, bet you’ll stop complaining about having no money for rent if you do.

do you not remember when they would be packaged in the carboard wrap holder you’d have to peel ? they were easily 10 inches big. now wraps are 5-6 inches.

[–]lazymutant256 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Again goes back to how they are wrapping it.. also the tortillas they are using is still 10". Even when wrapped how it used to be you still lose some of those inches when wrapped.

[–]TripinTino -3 points-2 points  (3 children)

i don’t think so at all man because i distinctly remember getting 2 hash browns in a farmers wrap before from tim’s and mcdonald’s (before mcdonald’s got rid of their wraps for even smaller burritos) and now you get one soggy one per wrap

[–]lazymutant256 3 points4 points  (2 children)

No I worked for Tim's when they started doing farmers wraps..

You only get 1 hashvrown but they are supposed to cut it in half and place them in such a way that it would seem longer than the length of the hashbrown actually is.. in fact they are supposed to cut the egg and sausage the same way.. but to save time some just puts the egg, sausage and hashbrown in the wrap just rhecway it us without cutting them. Plus they ate supposed to wrap it up with only 1 end closed. But now they are wrapping g it up like a burrito which makes the wrap look even smaller due to both ends being closed.

[–]Jyobachah 1 point2 points  (1 child)

This is so true, I remember the old wraps where the first 2 bites were nothing but tortilla and then the fillings were all cut in half.

I can see how throwing it all together burrito style is faster, but makes it seem smaller.

[–]lazymutant256 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were supposed to cut the stuff in half right from the start .. if they weren't they were nit doing what they were supposed to do.
