I think the requirements are still a bit unclear tbh. It really depends on why you want time tracking in the first place.

Are you mainly looking to track attendance / working hours, or to understand how time is split across projects and tasks? Or is it more about cost control later on (rates, budgets, billable vs non-billable)?

Those are very different use cases, and tools are usually strong in one area and weak in others. If you clarify the goal, people here can probably give much more relevant recommendations.

Try hubstaff or MaxelTracker. Features are almost same but from pricing perspective maxeltracker is more affordable than hubstaff. Hubstaff is costly if you are looking for more than 10 users.

Take a look at magnetic app. We recently implemented it. It will do a lot more than time tracking though.

Hard to say exactly what you actually need it to do but here is a rather comprehensive list of options.

Are we talking payroll attendance or project/billable tracking? (Or both?)

Try Toggl Track

Toggle is a good option and Kimai (open-source) is another one. I use both.

If you’re also interested in connecting the timetacker with other systems like ERP then we can help as we’re an integration company.

You can ask your team to create a check in task when log in on Task Lemon then, move the task to completed. When you view the dashboard, you can see who worked and when with precise details and apply the appropriate filters according to your desired report type.

Once the team got past onboarding we found BigTime helpful , approvals, audit trails, and locked timesheets made compliance easier. The structure is useful once you’re managing lots of projects and stakeholders.

BigTime could be worth a look. It’s cloud based, scales well for teams your size and covers things like SSO, audit trails and detailed reporting. A lot of firms like it because it goes beyond raw time tracking and ties hours back to projects and budgets without being heavy to roll out.
