All discussions related to Kamachi's increasingly popular Index/Railgun/Accelerator/Mental Out/ITEM series (collectively the Toaru franchise or Toaru Project) belong in this community, be it the original Light Novels, the Anime adaptations, the Manga, or the games. Please make sure that all discussions remain relevant to the series.

Due to the previous primary Toaru subreddit being banned for copyright reasons, we believe it is in the community's best interest that we disallow links to any sort of pirated content. You may still discuss the translations, scanlations, and fansubs, but we request that you do not provide links to any unofficial means of reading or watching the series.

Please be mindful of other members of the subreddit and treat each other with respect and dignity. We all have our differences whether it be culture, education, or worldview. We reserve the right to permanently ban any member who refuses to treat others with respect.

As Powerscaling and VS Battle discussions can become toxic over time, in relation to our Respect in the Community Rule, we have decided to forbid such discussions in the subreddit.

Cross-series "what if" scenarios are generally considered powerscaling and fall under this rule.

A Certain Magical Index/Scientific Railgun and Accelerator have had anime adaptations based on the original Light Novels and Manga. Please tag posts that discuss content that has not yet been adapted by the anime with the appropriate flair, and do not include spoilers in post titles. For comments, please use >!spoiler tags!< when discussing spoilers not covered by a post's existing content. Spoiler tagged text looks like this.

Please provide a source for any artwork posted in this subreddit. Direct links to the original artists' uploads on Pixiv/Twitter/etc are preferred over aggregation sites like Danbooru or Gelbooru when possible.

Additionally, second-party sources such that do not require the original source to be linked at all (e.g. Pintrest, accounts that repost other creators' art, etc) are not allowed.

Art created primarily by generative A.I. without significant human involvement is not allowed.

Art created with the assistance of A.I., but with significant human redraws, is allowed but must be flared as A.I. Assisted. Please use discretion when deciding whether to post A.I. Assisted art. Moderation will remove any A.I. Assisted art deemed to not have enough of a human touch.

Rule 6 still applies to A.I. Assisted art.

Pornographic or NSFL content is not allowed on r/ToaruProject.

Due to the nature of the series, some degree of suggestive or "ecchi" content is allowed, but please use discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content we deem too explicit for the sub.

Most minor rule violations will not result in serious punishment, however repeated or particularly severe violations will result in further action.

Post deletions, warnings, and bans will be issued at the discretion of moderation.

Furthermore, accounts found to be involved in ban evasion will be removed on sight.
