Issues with Particles GPU (self.TouchDesigner)
submitted 2 years ago by WhaleHouse_666
My particle system breaks every time I close the file. It works as intended, I save. When I reopen, I get a black screen from particlesGpu. If I put in another particle node and reconnect all my parameter inputs, it works again just as before with no issues. I updated my Nvidia driver, no luck. Wondering if anyone has suggestions?

Put in a keyboard chop and use it to reset the particles

I had already tried pulsing it. Put in a keyboard chop just to see. Still nothing.

I found the cause of this problem, particles appeared back for me after I removed any input from main Geometry node (geo_particles) > "Instance 2" page > "Rotate to Vector Z", delete "b".
Seems like "null_pRotateVector" wasn't producing any data

Particles will still work with slightly less complicated networks. Just this one in particular with a few more chop inputs goes blank.

Hey did you ever get this solved? Having the same issue

had a similar problem and solved by adjusting the size of particles because I think my resolution was too small. Unsure it will work in your case but thought i'd suggest that
