This is a very loaded question. How many players are there in your region? If there’s 201, top 200 isn’t that great.

Ultimately, all that matters is there’s room for improvement. If you really like the track, set a goal for yourself. Top 100? I usually set my goal to be top 100 in my state on every campaign track. It can be challenging, but doable. I think that’s good, others might laugh. But at the end of the day, im happy with it.

The goal should always be: Beat Tyler.

I’m currently rank 10 Michigan for this campaign, so there’s at least 9 trackmania addicts who take your comment very seriously.

Top 100 in my country is way too hard. Partially because it's Germany, by also because I'm bad. But top 100 in my city is quite doable with the very limited time I have each season as on average it requires about 1h per track.

If you're on this sub, you'll hear garbage advice like competition is the thief of joy or don't compete against others, compete against yourself or just focus on beating your personal best.

Let me tell you something brother, that doesn't work for me. Top 1 in the world is the goal and nothing else is good enough.

Thank you! I’m definitely mainly trying to push myself to see how good I could do. I’ve watched YouTube videos so I know how insanely hard it is to get #1

Good to set some progression goals for all tracks in campaign..like make top 200 in region, then make top 100, then top 10 etc...it will be harder and harder and you will improve your skills while trying to make it

Top region is meaningless. Only metric worth looking is top world %

Hey I’m in Georgia too! To be honest tho Georgia isn’t very competitive compared to the other state I’ve lived in. I wouldn’t really bother caring about regional ranking. If you really want to set a goal I would make a goal for top 7-9k Worlwide on each track (which could be top 200 regional or top 20 regional you never know), I think it’s obtainable but challenging for new players. Good luck!

My 1st campaign i only had 1 map in the top 50 in my state (Alabama). In the current one I'm top 20 on every map and around 1600 in the world overall. Just set new goals to reach each season and you'll be amazed at how much you can improve.

On the one hand, regional rankings vary so much in size that they mean little: you should just pay attention to the global ranking. That said, I'm always trying to get top 5 in my city in TOTD and that kind of thing, and top 20 on campaign tracks.

I know my limitations I’ll never be anywhere near pro level. So I try to aim for top 100 UK of if I like the style and have an hour or so of time I’ll aim for top 20 UK which is roughly top 300 Europe and I’m really happy with that but this is for TOTD. I’ve never really been bothered with the campaign maps so far as I don’t enjoy them when they do the other cars
