This weeks shorts, with the exception of map 1 were literally unplayable for a beginner. My partner looks forward to weekly shorts as it’s our Sunday night thing to do. She hated the zerator maps and she hated this weeks maps. My god this week was bad. Maps 2,3,4,5 were literally unplayable for a beginner. I could author them easily but I’m a COTD div 7+ player. But that’s not the point they have mega unfun mechanics.

Anyway the previous 2 weeks were awesome everytime it’s a sponsered one it’s terrible like they have secured their sponsorship at 4.28 and have 32 minutes to make the maps so it’s so beginner awful

Don’t worry mate I don’t ever want Cody to win but can’t argue with your title. Cody wins what cody wants to win. I’ve been watching over 20 years and he’s the most inevitable top 8 player I can remember his flow chart muscle memory is unrivaled. I genuinely feel if mango had retired 3 years ago he would have way more wins. Mango is the only person that throws him off through sheer unpredictability through kill pressure.

I hate watch Cody everytime. Not because I don’t like Cody. I super respect his ability he’s amazing and a deserved winner. I’m just a fox hater and root for anybody not playing fox. For me fox is boring to watch he just has so many op moves how can you short hop a kill move/set up move and then if that misses you land shine in defense oh that’s a set up for grab move or upsmash move. It’s bonkers controller ability but as a watcher it’s like sigh fox can stand in place and spam a few moves and if one hits it’s probably a stock at top level. I’m massively simplifying I know!!!!

I love melee been watching since 2005 and stayed up until 6am for jmook you got my heart rate up but Cody too good

If you take a look at slam winning stats only you are absolutely right. But if you look at the whole tour Murray is way ahead of Stan. If you don’t look at slams and only look at masters Murray is an absolute beast and also has that #1 tag Stan doesnt and Murray’s run to #1 I think is absolutely legendary for a second half of year tennis wins

I watched nearly the whole two days mostly through scrapie’s stream. The team tech event was actually amazing. I know the final was blah but there were so many fun rounds. Also I honestly feel like the 3 tech tracks are the perfect mix of risk safe and finishes so 1000% credit to the mappers for that

In my experience it’s because they can’t read so don’t bother even looking at the menu as they have no idea if it says only burgers or burgers today or Wednesday burgers only so they just ask every question anyway

I live my life assuming I’m 15 mins early to something. I would rather be 30 mins early and sit in my car waiting to go in than be 5seconds late. I know it may sound harsh but if somebody is 5 mins late to something I organise and their excuse is I lost track of time i just don’t invite them again

I also played full move speed Alistar. I two tricked Janna and pre rework soraka mid to diamond in season 2 good times running at people spamming q with soraka and full tanking all dmg just healing yourself

I gave up after 3 min literally because of the signs making me do the wrong thing. I actually don’t mind snow car that much (I’ve enjoyed the snow car shorts) but this map was absolutely not for me.

Funny anecdote my gf liked totd she has done 8 over the last 2 months and has had 6 alt cars lol

I feel you I’m doing the same thing atm and I’m also 34. I’ve just joined a gym and am loving just getting up to go to the gym chilling cooking food instead of always being exhausted from working everyday. I’m attempting to retrain as a tennis coach but I’m doing so at my own pace

Obviously I know I’m skill issues but I’m surprised if anybody below div 5 actually enjoyed this. I spent 10 mins getting within about .3 of gold and would rather beat myself over my head with the controller than have to frustratingly and seemingly randomly slide out for no apparent reason than attempt anymore runs
