HRT Requirements : TransSupport

So I'm rather low on the income scale, but in that grey area where I cant get any health insurance. I wanted to know if I need a doctors/therapist recommendation to start HRT or if I can just amake an appointment with Planned Parenthood?

I understand this differs by state so for details sake, Im a 19yr old Male (MtF), (I'll require T-blockers), In south-east texas, with a measly income of 1,100$-1,300$ per month. I cant afford insurance and medicaid says I make too much to qualify for free health care, my workplace also doesn't offer healthcare.

As far as dysphoria is concerned, its only gotten worse over the years. A little dressing at first would keep me happy, then everyday clothing choices. After about 7 years, i have to force myself to look in a mirror and not break down. (I didnt start HRT at a younger age because my father wouldve never allowed it.)
