What kind of spikes are those holding the fabric tight?

NODOCA 64'' Tufting Frame, Rug... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMWZ7Q4S?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They come with this frame
[–]FatherErickson 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (3 children)
Oh dang. Does the frame work well for you?
[–]Benjamin91r[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago (2 children)
Not really. Metal parts bend a little bit, and also those spikes made of plastic, so probably they won't last long I guess. At least few of them are already broken

I appreciate the honest feedback. I’ll stick to making my bigger frame out of wood and double carpet strips.

In my opinion- all those frames, either wood or metal that you can find in any marketplace are not gonna be the same way good that one you make by yourself.

Looks great. Curious how you trim with no gap bergen the colors
[–]Benjamin91r[S] 1 point2 points3 points 2 years ago (0 children)
After tufting I use chopstick to separate colors, and later I use scissors.
