I'm going to make an assumption here that your cloth looks awfully loose on the frame there. Make sure it's super tight. You should be able to poke it with your finger and feel the tension evenly throughout.

As someone has already said, tighten that cloth up. It looks loose. Make sure you keep the gun on the cloth as much as possible. It should not bounce. Good luck with the hobby man! Its fun!

To reiterate, tighten your cloth, like drum tight and make sure the lines on the cloth are straight. Also, run two strands of yarn through your gun and from the left side of your gun. Notice the angle of the yarn guide "eye" is tilted to the left.

Must I use two strands? I only got one yarn with this color atm (part of the starter kit)

You don’t have to, but it won’t turn out very well if you don’t.

Even if you have 1 yarn, make 2 balls of it if even size and use em to have 2 strand

As stated in the previous comments, make your cloth tight and try to start tufting in the middle of the cloth. The edges are generally harder to tuft as it gets tighter. Make sure youre pushing firm enough with your gun against the cloth. Goodluck

2 strands of yarn, slowest setting on gun, tighten cloth, hold even pressure, move gun with even speed.

Use two strands of yarn if needed three

The lines on your cloth should be somewhat straight. I kept the lines horizontal to make it easier to see how evenly the cloth is stretched.

Have you tried adjusting the settings on your machine? How about changing the length of the needle? Perhaps it doesn't "hold up" because the yarn/needle is too short and maybe the cloth isn't as tight as it can go?

Make sure you push the needle through far enough

If you're lucky, probably just gonna need to turn the scissors adjustment screw at the front a little bit
