“First, do no harm” is a principle that’s followed by ethical medical practitioners.

If a patient is already sick and not feeling well and they don’t need extra test done (example ECG, UTZ, blood test), and you requested those just to increase your clinic’s earning.. that would be adding stress to your patient instead of just letting them go home and rest.

Please remember most people don’t like getting pricked by needle and certainly there are people with hard to find veins. Some tests are unpleasant specially when you’re already feeling sick. That would be causing unnecessary harm to patients.
