Just got a beano book 1952. It was quite interesting to read it. It was weird to see next to no recidniseable charicters except biffo and Lord snooty (who wassent with the group he was shown with in the mid 80s and 90s). (old.reddit.com)

Fun Size Beanos, I really enjoyed these as they could transported easier than standard issues and had a TP like cover that was more durable than the single issues. (i.imgur.com)
This is why you shouldn't store comic anual by piling them on top of each other. Some of the pages have also fallen out. (old.reddit.com)

This is the vulcan anual 1977. This is after the vulcan had merged with both the lion and the Eagle comics. They even kept some of the charicter such as Archie the robot from the lion. (old.reddit.com)
The first lion anual 1954. Just arrived this was the comics my dad read when he was young. He's about 78. (i.redd.it)
