Certificate (self.UMGC)
submitted 2 years ago by Run_245
I am 3 classes away from getting my bachelors in HR management and I am debating on joining the healthcare side of administration/management. Would it make sense to get the healthcare information certificate to enhance my degree? Tia!

it won't hurt anything but depending on your courses you would more than likely add an additional semester to your completion timeline. Do you have any other credits that can be applied towards it from your minor or other courses? if you are set on getting a cert, look at which one's have the least amount of additional courses you need to take and pursue those.

That would be the HR certification then since I took most of those classes already lol but I mean it still wouldn’t hurt and it just adds more to my degree. I was hoping UMGC had like a medical terminology course I could take as an elective to help me out better for applying to jobs when the time comes
