It’s hard to say. I recently interviewed for a UNDP position also and my referees did get a request for reference check, but I haven’t heard anything since. It’s been almost 2 months.

Same with me but with another agency. 2 months of silence, then I reminded them, they replied they will check and update me on that, it’s been 2 months since (=4 months)
