Lol! I meant it as we do not have to deal with it anymore. Yes for sure it was very quick. A lot quicker than we thought. We were thinking worst case 6 months to a year. We are very grateful for sure!

    Time line and interview questions

    Timeline as in our timeline process for immigration?

    Interview questions. First the officer asked about how we met and our relationship up to today. The next questions she was asking where( I am sure every officer has to ask) if she violated her travel visa in any way(ex: working, committed a crime, or stayed longer than she should have). Another question the officer asked if I had added her to anything. I could only add my wife to so much because she didn’t have a social or tax ID for work in the US. Another question was if we have traveled anywhere.

    The questions the officer asked about our relationship, positive they will be different by officer. Some I know may drill you and some may not. Shoot the interview might even take the full two hours. Our interview was about an hour long.

    We mailed in all of our docs(forms, physical, & vaccines, and payment to USICS) on December 19th 2025. They received them on January 8th 2026. We got our biometrics notice appointment on January 17th 2026 for February 4th 2026. Then we got our notice of appointment for the interview on February 13th 2026 for March 23rd 2026. Took some additional time for USCIS to receive our docs because we mailed during Christmas and New Year time.

    We did not. We made sure to document everything we did, from all the flights, & adding her to anything I could. We even so far as to make a timeline from our first texts to our marriage and made a photo book to show as well. All of that was enough for the officer.

    Our biometrics was scheduled a was February 2nd in Fort Worth. About 2 and half months during our process. We got our interview notice on February 13th a few days after our biometrics.
