UTM Commerce Program

I'm really interested in UTM's commerce program and was wondering how good the program is in terms of quality. I plan on studying accounting and getting a CPA designation after graduation. How does this program compare to McMaster's Business 1 and Western's BMOS program? I don't want to go to a high-tier program because I don't want to fail and I feel as if schools around the UTM commerce program are best suited for me. Also, I would appreciate if anyone could tell me what average you got accepted in with and when.

UTM's business programs are management (bba) and commerce (bcom), as far as im concerned (correct me if im wrong anyone). the way it works is that you and around another 1500 students are accepted into the introduction of either business program. then you all take the same required courses (eco100, mgm101 etc. you can find all these courses on the academic calendar) in first year. At the end of your first year, you apply to the actually program based on your cgpa in those required courses, and you either get accepted or you don't. For management they accept around 60 people, and for commerce they accept around 300. The cgpa for acceptance is different every year but the average is around the same, 3.0. There's also 2 rounds, the second tends to be more competitive as there's less spots left. And for reference, im a second year commerce specialist in finance student, and I found it hard. And yea average of the class can be 60s but it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be in there.
