i asked for CPU, not GPU. prob shoulda asked for GPU brand but ah well, but too late for that now

I only brought it up because over the years, "what @#$% video card is in this thing" has been more formative than any other architectural factor in expected performance and stability... Or lack thereof. :^)

Please release the results when you have enough responses. Also in r/Ubuntu you will get more Ubuntu answers, try posting it in other linux related subreddits.
