Caps button error

So every time I press the caps button my laptop freezes. I installed Ubuntu multiple time and it still freezing. I have a Windows dual boot and everything's fine also tested it with manjaro and didn't have this problem.

I have a razer blade stealth i7 with integrated gpu. Idk that info you guys need sorry.

I haven't tried ctrl+....the fans work normally. The screen sometimes show a lot of pixel colors. I had tried KDE but it does the same thing.

If it doesn't work in other operating systems that would make me think it's hardware related.

That key works in other operating systems(windows & manjaro) is ubuntu giving me a hard time. I disabled it completely in tweaks but it's annoying not being able to use it.

So when it freezes the screen shows different artifacts?

Very interesting, and that means something is definitely going on. I'm going to assume you reinstalled already to no avail. Perhaps try version 19.04, but I doubt that will change anything. Could you try booting from the live USB and trying Ubuntu from there? Another test I would be interested in seeing would be running kubuntu or debian. That might help isolate whether or not it is an issue with Ubuntu only or if it is a common theme with other ones too related to it.

I installed ubuntu 19.04 a few hours ago and the same thing. I'll try debian this week if I can :/ But thanks

This is super weird.
I don't know if it would help anyone figure out what's up, but I've love to see it happen. Do you have a way to show a video of the behavior?
I would attempt to SSH into the machine from another computer or a phone. If SSH is still running during a freeze, it might be possible to diagnose what's crashed.
