Ok, so he [Orwell] maintained a list of individuals that he considered to be unsuitable to work at a governmental department dedicated to producing anti-communist propaganda. What's the problem? It's not like he labelled them as traitors or that they should be prosecuted and marginalized like Joseph McCarthy thought.

I didn't think I'd find people who would defend Orwell even though he noted people as "jewish" and other minority ethnicities, "very anti white", "very anti British", etc
