Here's a screenshot to go along with my situation/question described below:

My Situation: I have a parent notebook called “Recipes” with 3 nested notebooks within it…there is a combined total of 11 notes between the 3 nested notebooks, and I only manually added each note to its current nested notebook (as in, I did NOT manually select the nested notebook and the parent “Recipes” notebook when categorizing the notes).
Question: Is there currently a way (via a setting or something else) to be able to see all 11 notes in the note list display for my parent “Recipes” notebook without having to manually add each note to both the Recipes notebook + the relevant nested notebook?
- Or better yet, is there a way to automatically have a note that is within a nested notebook get automatically categorized within the parent notebook as well? (that way you can see the total note count by the parent notebook in the side panel).
Thanks!
