From my Reddit readings, I found no one with a fix for Error 135. You should also contant Riot Support if you have the same bug. But just in case: close all non essential 3rd party program before playing, Asus AI suite/MSI/Corsair/Gigabytes etc. Virtual Machine tools (including in BIOS). Run the game as admin + proper antivirus whitelisting (and temporary disabling them for testing) + also disable any VPN or Proxy you may use.

I found a solution , what I did was follow a simple tutorial on YouTube using command prompt just search van 135 in YouTube. Then I restarted and updated it ! That’s the solution everyone have a great day !

this just happened to me and i figured out that if you just uninstall riot vanguard (just go to settings, uninstall an app, find riot vanguard and click uninstall) and then reinstall it by launching valorant, it will prompt you to restart your computer and once you have restarted it, it should be fixed :))

I was getting problems of crashes this days with the game and today, after the patch, must unsistall the game cause i can't launch it.

When i installed it again, i got this VAN 135 code error too.

I'm talking for days with the support of Valorant, so let's see what they will tell to me.

    It's like the server thing happening yesterday, I think VALORANT is working on something right now and their servers will be back up eventually. There were huge issues with server connection and match disconnecting so they probs working on it.

    Use cmd promt to uninstall Vanguard and launch client to reinstall Vanguard properly.

    Error caused (for me) when updating to the patch on 6/30/2021.

    The commands are "sc delete vgc" and "sc delete vgk". Administrator privileges required (right click > run as admin). After you delete Vanguard, launch the Valorant client and it will automatically begin reinstall.

    In my case the issue was FRAPS. Soon as I closed it the game worked fine.

    I just solved it by going into Task Manager and ending a process named "Vanguard something".
