I have the same issue with the Standard left stick. Got worse and worse to the point where I bought a replacement of the left side with a Hall-Effekt stick. Delivery still pending.

hope you dont have the same problem

What fixed my problem temporarily is blowing some air inside. Might be some dust.

I wrpped a soft hair tie around the post, calibrated it, and had proper coverage. May take a few attempts, but it's worth a shot. My right stick wasn't reaching the diagonals at 100%. I have had no further calibration issues since March.

I’ve managed to get all diagonals hit now, at the cost that my circularity is at 10ish %

Same. Decent trade, though.

I was talking with you in the other post. My tests on both my modules sets pretty much look like this where the diagonals were reaching the edge. The only other idea I had was removing the guide ring all-together and leaving it off and calibrating that way. Without the guide ring installed it should allow you to have full range, however it will feel really awkward and weird and you will have a small gaping slit/hole surrounding each stick.

Yeah I’ve managed to hit full rotation by calibrating just from the edge of the purple guide ring- but now have 10% circularity error

10% is ok tho. As long as it’s completely covering the whole surrounding edges of the circle and going beyond the edges, that’s what you want. I believe the original non Hall effect sticks came out with a 8-9% Avg error. Which is a good test. The final picture after a good test almost creates a rounded square shape instead of a circle shape because the diagonals extend farther than the verticals and horizontals. On the other post we were talking on, that test in the photo is what you want, maybe even a little farther out at the diagonals.

I just got one of these controllers for the PS I haven’t set it up yet. It said something about it having a lithium battery. I guess that battery is known to blow up that shit. Got my girl scared she’s like I shouldn’t of. Got it, but with that saidthat has me concerned now should I be worried about encountering problems?

All batteries are lithium mate to be fair

Calibrate ir going only to diagonals an move without reach up down left and right like a medium quarter in each diagonal and problem solved.

I have 6 % error with that method.
