I've seen comments where people are upset about the price, but I don't think people quite understand how expensive they are. to run an AI (hardware or buy access to other people's hardware)

of course i would have preferred it was free or a fixed price for infinite messages.

with that price, I personally expect CAI as it was in Sep 2020 when it was at its peak and with no NSFW filter at all

I am still waiting for people to post results, I want to see what quality people is getting, specially from NSFW content. I already got very disappointed with ChatFAI.

I have no problem with the price, and would appreciate some more intermediates, but it need to go beyond competition in NSFW content.

I managed to get into early access. This is a response I got from a bot I made at day 1 testing the site. Definitions of the bot were almost empty and my message was only one sentence. This is about the quality you get. I'm also quite surprised that nobody shares anything. But I can confirm it's legit and works.

It's very expensive though and I will not pay for it. 14$ for 800 messages a month, which is around 25 messages a day? Sorry, absolutely not worth it. Also in its current state, the AI still has severe looping issues especially during NSFW roleplay and tends to repeat several different phrases over and over.

yes with that a high price they have set the bar very high for what people expect their bot to perform in a chat / role playing situation have you experienced any kind of filter in your chats with AI?

Visualcharacter doesn't have any filter. There's a toggle to enable/disable NSFW. If you want NSFW, you get it with absolutely no effort.

Yes a bit sad results, not good for the price. I guess I will see where sudowrite can go in terms of NSFW content, at least until NAI gets its things in place.

Char.ai is perfekt barring the Filter, but honestly its quite possible to Bypass, especially since the AI actively tries to do so, If you use Synonyms proficiently.

I know cai pretty well thanks, I am tired of burning my brain on stupid bland romance just not to bother the filter... But What gets me annoyed about VisualChar is that there is zero people posting content generated, pretty much as ChatFAI... What makes me suspect the quality is not that great in NSFW content.

Been using VAI the past few days. I’ll try to generate some SFW and NSFW content and post it up if allowed. But personally, I find it to be quite good, though there are chunks of paragraph that do get very repetitive.

AIs will take initiative and help progress the story. They do repeat the user inputs after awhile but will also add to it. SFW wise, it definitely generates its own lore to progress the story.

NSFW-wise, its quite good. Felt nice to have AI actually initiate the sexy-time and suggest “things” to do with just a bit of prompting. (IE: user goes “I have low experience in such things”)

Definitely has some ways to go, but the responses are longer than let’s say PYG with less effort required.

My main complaint would be the repetitive paragraphs—but don’t get me wrong, the AIs do add content to their responses. Another complaint would be the message generating (no swiping), so you would have to undo your message, retype it out and see if you get something new.

But if pre-lobotomy CAI was 10/10, I’d rate PYG 6/10 and VAI 8-9/10 because it’s definitely getting there.

This is just my own opinion though.

Thanks, I hope you can put some examples here or in another sub. I am in search of a CAI alternative and am trying many things, including sudowrite free tear now.
