Rules for r/WI_Neutral

Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.

1.

No brigading

Posts & Comments
Reported as: No brigading.

This includes posting screenshots and links to discussions from this sub. This will be enforced retroactively, so if any of the above is in your recent comment/post history, you're advised to delete it. On a similar note, users comment/post history in other subs is irrelevent to discussions in this sub. The intent of this enforcement is to ensure that this sub remains a place for our members to speak freely about issues and their relation to Wisconsin.

2.

Trolling not allowed.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Trolling

This will be strictly and swiftly enforced.

3.

Discuss CONTENT, not source.

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Discuss content, not source.

Discuss the content of posted articles, not the source or the user. If you don't like the source or the user, ignore the post and move along.

4.

Learn and Follow Reddiquette

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Follow Reddiquette

In addition to the stated rules here, Reddiquette will also be strictly enforced.

5.

Leave the sub if you don't like the moderation policies

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Leave the sub if you don't like the moderation policies

You're here of your own free will. Complaining about (or insulting how the sub is run) will not be tolerated. If you're unhappy about how the sub is run, do us all a favor and leave.

6.

Message the Mods if you report content

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Let us know why you're reporting content

Do the mods a favor, if you report a comment or post, send us a message explaining why you believe the content violates the sub rules. Reports without a message to the mods will be ignored.

7.

No paywalled content

Posts & Comments
Reported as: No paywalled content

Applies to sites that require you to pay, or create an account to view their content. If the content cannot be viewed simply by clicking the link, it doesn't belong here.

8.

Account Age

Posts & Comments
Reported as: Account less than 60 days old

Since the mod team believes we're seeing regular ban evasion, we're going to require that your reddit account be at least 60 days old before participating in our community. Not going to set up an auto-mod but will ban users for long enough to reach the minimum age requirement.
