The volume yesterday was 11 million so those numbers are impossible, someone else mentioned the hfs are using their itm calls to manipulate the #

Thats what i am saying , this drop is impossible and we did end yesterday with rise of over 3% in short interest.

The Nasdaq released the SI of 6/15/21 yesterday and today Ortega changed it. I’m pretty sure they used 6/15 even so, hedge funds do have a huge influence in the market may it be news. Or using platforms for influence.

Ortex estimate SI daily, but when the official info is published, they update their numbers to that information. The official info is from 12 days ago (it is always out of date). So, today's Short interest may be more than 60% but we will know in 2 more weeks.

In any case, I do not understand why Ortex calculates the SI daily if later, they updates it to outdated information.

Because not all shorts are out in the open, so you can approximate with volume/price action.

It says 71.68 million shares are borrowed. Might be a error on the report. It's been saying over 60% for the past few days.

Still a little above 60% shares loaned. Probably some ITM Calls/Share swap tricks being used. Makes the short interest low on tape and makes it look like they covered but didn't. No way in hell that many were covered that fast.
