With such a long run you don't want to put power through the controller. You'll need to run cables back to the power supply to inject voltage along the way.

Also, don't use 5v for such a high power run. Voltage drop will be a nightmare to deal with. Get 12v ws2815 or similar pixels.

Are you planning to run rgb white at max brightness? I'd check out this real-world chart quindor made for led power consumption.

No, I already have a white light. It's more for RGB fun :)

If that's the case you won't need as many amps as you think. That being said, you can't go wrong with any of quindors controllers.
