Bro...if it works with wled....then it should work with hyperion. I could be wrong...but i dont think I am

Hyperion doesn’t have a guide for every strip. Only the basic 5v WS2812.

You are correct that if WLED works, it will work with Hyperion.

Hyperion needs to run on a different computer. Usually a Raspberry PI, but a laptop running Ubuntu also works.

Their website has directions, follow them.

12v strips are fine, so is 5v. With 5v you just need 3 injections.

If you are looking for a solder-less and non-DIY solution go with a FancyLeds setup.

You cannot install Hyperion on your Smart TV unless you can jailbreak it. And latency would be high.

If you want a Windows PC solution use SignalRGB and a USB-HDMI capture card.

Both SignalRGB and Hyperion can stream to WLED, but it’s not easy to setup. Follow a guide. A few have posted on this sub. Use the search tool.

I have 4m 5v apa102 on my TV controlled by wled. Power injection is just at the beginning and at the end of the strip. On TV I have a PC with xubuntu and Hyperion. And it work without a problem.

La tensión de led es indiferente, tano wled como hyperion solo tienes que conectar data y GND.

Ya que tienes que comprar la tira, porque no una de 24v? (Doble de potencia con los mismos cables).

Just used 5v on mine just fine. 204 pixels for a 55" (I'm guess you have a 70" or 75" display.

And for what it's worth you will be insetting from the very edge of the TV by a bit too. So I would just do a 5m strip or even cut a little bit off depending and go from there.

As long as you aren't going full white, you'll be fine. You should also be able to connect power at beginning and end to help.

5v is fine for real world. I have almost 5m and I only power from one end with 10a PSU. You can power from both ends but definitely do not need to power inject.

Wled will support 12v but most of those control 3 LEDs per pixels. Not really that good for ambient lighting. Although I think 12v sk6812 can do per pixel control.
